When we hear the word cobbler, we think a savory dessert! What is basically a pie without the bottom crust, yet topped with a batter, goes fantastic with a scoop of ice cream. Because it is a little different than a pie, it's thicker and taller. Most people enjoy this dessert served warm, allowing the ice cream to slowly melt on top of it.
Commonly, cobblers are made with a single fruit, but there's nothing wrong with experimenting and blending fruits for this tasty dessert. My favorite cobblers are peach, cherry, and blueberry because the fruits are some of my favorites!
